Before the advent of LED fixtures and the ability to operate them wirelessly, we had to get a little creative when attempting to achieve glowing dinner tables. These were accomplished by using wheelchair batteries and 100w soft white low voltage light bulbs. Small wooden plates with medium screw bases were created to hold the light bulbs, and lamp cord was used to supply power from the batteries to the bulbs. Definately old school.
